We have received a letter from Archbishop Jose Gomez early in the year expressing his concern about candidates and sponsors not receiving Holy Communion during the Mass. I have attached the letter to this email He is encouraging pastors and catechetical leaders to ensure that candidates and sponsors are catechized and prepared for the “proper disposition” for receiving the Holy Eucharist during Confirmation Mass. So in order to put into practice this mandate from Archbishop Gomez, we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation for candidate and sponsors. We will be breaking the group into 2 groups according to the first letter of you last name:
A – J: Tuesday, June 4th @ 6pm – 7:15pm
L – Z: Wednesday, June 5th @ 6pm 7:15
