Week Of November 4th

Week Of November 4th
Fr Aidan Peter Writes:

This week’s letter is firstly a BIG THANK YOU for your kindness to the mission appeal. It has already raised over $20,000 and more to come in. If you have not managed to donate, please do so using the Josephite Fathers white envelopes you’ll find in the racks. Every dollar really helps.

As you can see, work has started on the Gathering Area resurfacing and tree re-placement project. And on Monday 5th the Vestibule Project external work will start (new disabled persons’ ramp, lighting, water fountain and Statue of SLdM and his plinth).

SO, AS OF MONDAY THE 5th, THE GATHERING AREA IS OUT OF BOUNDS FOR SAFETY REASONS… AND ALSO SO THAT DIRT UNDERFOOT WILL NOT BE DRAGGED INTO THE CHURCH!

ACCESS FROM THE PARKING LOT IS VIA THE TRANSEPT DOORS AND AS USUAL FROM HARP RD.

I am away from the parish after Sunday 7.30 am Mass until 30th November.

I will be in UK, Belgium and Rome in my capacity as Vicar General of the Josephites. I’ll also have a week of my “summer” holiday with family. When in Rome, I’ll light a candle for you at which ever Basilica I visit. Say a prayer for me too.

May God bless you, your families, and the week ahead,

Fr Aidan Peter
