Kathy Crow: An Appreciation – Week Of June 25th

Kathy Crow: An Appreciation – Week Of June 25th
Fr Aidan Peter Writes:

We cannot fit too much in this bulletin, and we have celebrated in worship and fellowship Kathy’s retirement last Saturday, but I wanted just to say a few words here.

Our parish school is deeply indebted to Kathy for her years of service to the children and families of the parish. As teacher and latterly as principal Kathy continued and developed the high quality of educational provision and Catholic spirituality we give to the children here at the school as laid down by the DMJ sisters for many years beforehand.

In an educational climate of change and financial constraint, Kathy has not merely kept the school afloat but given it clear direction and real progress. We should be very proud of our school and this is in no short measure due to Kathy’s leadership of a highly competent and committed team of educators. Kathy leaves the school in great shape.

It was also typical of her dedication to, and love of, the school that any financial retirement gifts were to be made over to the ABC Scholarship Fund (in honor of Frs. Anthony, Bede and Campion)

Kathy, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your educational leadership. On a personal note, I thank you also for your friendship and easy way of introducing me into the intricacies and vagaries of the US Educational system!

God bless you and your husband Allen for all his support of the years.

Enjoy your retirement so richly deserved. We will miss you.

Fr Aidan Peter, CJ

May God bless you, your families, and the week ahead,

Fr Aidan Peter
