Hi. I am Louis Armand Bopda Toche, a Josephite father arriving here in USA (Santa Maria) on the 24th December as the “Christmas present of Saint Louis de Monfort Parish” as Fr Aidan-Peter said! I was born in Cameroon (central Africa) on the 22nd November 1975, in a family of 3 boys and 2 girls. I grew up in the north region of Cameroon where I encountered the Josephite Fathers who have been working there since 1999. After joining them in 2003, I left Cameroon to the D.R. Congo, where I have been trained to become a Josephite priest. I was ordained priest there in the Kasai region of Congo in 2011. After a year of studies in England, I worked in Kinshasa (D.R. Congo) in our formation houses as a trainer until 2018. Then, after 15 years in Congo, I am now transferred here as a pastor associate. I am so happy to be here and I hope that, with the grace of our Lord and the help of all the faithful of this lovely parish, I will be a “good instrument of God’s mercy” for His Glory and our salvation.
