Youth Group-Topic: “A different kind of King: The Solemnity of Christ the King”

November 5, 2017 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

When most people think about kings, they imagine power over people, wealth to the point of opulence, and pompous displays and lavish ritual. When we speak of Jesus Christ as King, we are reminded of the search for justice, peace, and unselfish love.

Participants will reflect on the person of Jesus and his title of King and how the contemporary world could benefit from His Kingship. Each person will be asked to initiate a strategy or action in their daily life that could help foster or witness to Christ as King of their life.
