Clothing Drive Honoring Mother Teresa’s Canonization

Clothing Drive Honoring Mother Teresa’s Canonization
On September 4, 2016, St. Louis de Montfort Parish will be hosting a clothing/goods drive in honor of Mother Teresa’s canonization.

This drive will be targeting goods that are needed by people who are homeless. This is not in any way to take away from the Halvorsen’s annual Blanket and Coat Drive that happens in October.

Articles will be collected after all the Masses the weekend of Sept 3rd and 4th. Some items that are needed desperately at this time are new items such as shoes, socks, gloves, scarves, hats, slippers, t shirts, and undergarments. Gift cards (Wal Mart, Target, Payless Shoes etc.) would be greatly appreciated so the recipients can purchase the items in their needed sizes. Small toiletries needed include, bars of soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, razors. for men and women, shaving cream, women’s personal items, combs, brushes, etc.

For more information, or if you would like to volunteer your time to help with this drive, please contact Marie Farley at (805) 878-6902 or mariefarley@live.com.
