A Message From SLDM Principal Kathy Crow

Dear St. Louis de Montfort Parishioners,

It is with joy and sadness that I write this letter. After a year of prayer and discussions with my family, I have decided it is time to retire from a vocation I have loved for many years. I feel that the time is right for me to step down as principal at the end of this academic year.

St. Louis de Montfort has been more than a significant part of my life and I have loved every minute I have spent here as a teacher and principal. I have so enjoyed working with a fantastic faculty and staff. It has been my honor to support, nurture, and care for a significant number of young people. I have been forever grateful for the positive relationships built with so many of you parents and families and parishioners. It has been a real privilege to share in your lives.

I have spent 45 years in education, of which 37 have been here at St. Louis. My prayers are that God sends us just the right person to carry on the vision of taking our wonderful school on to the next stage of its journey to outstanding. I assure you that Fr. Aidan Peter and the selection committee will be led by the Holy Spirit and will find the right someone who will continue the mission of keeping the charisma of the Josephite Fathers and the Daughters of Mary and Joseph as the guiding light of our spirituality and academics.

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying Good-bye so hard.” (Winnie the Pooh)

With blessings,
Kathy Crow
